dm_validate_partition_table():Diskread failed

While booting Mandrake 9.1 I get the message "dm_validate_partition_table()

iskread failed". Since this is a new 9.1 install, I reformated and reinstalled and the message is still there.

This never showed up on Mandrake 9.0. Also my Data Fab Systems MMC card reader worked fine in Mandrake 9.0, but 9.1 does not recognize it, (but that's another time)

My Hard Drive is a Maxtor 80gig ide. My "floppy" is a LS-120. A CD-RW, and a DVD-CD. What is happening?

do you have 2 floppy drives and 2 cd drives as it says in the fstab? You could see what happens when you comment out or remove the line for /dev/hda and /dev/hdc since these are the two that make trouble.
