DLT Tape Library

We just got an Adic Scalar 218 tape library at work. I got it hooked up and recognized by the system, but I don't know what to do with it from here. I'm running RHEL 3 ES, the two drives are a DLT 7000 and DLT 8000. I have MTX installed, have read some stuff, but I'm still clueless as to how this all works together.

Does anyone have any suggestions about where to look for software or guides for using a tape library on Linux?

I have an internal DLT 7000 that I've been using, so I understand the basics. I just can't make heads or tails of this library under linux.

Here's a dmesg clipping for anyone interested:
2 external tapes, 1 internal tape

st: Version 20040102, bufsize 32768, max init. bufs 4, s/g segs 16
Attached scsi tape st0 at scsi0, channel 0, id 4, lun 0
Attached scsi tape st1 at scsi0, channel 0, id 5, lun 0
Attached scsi tape st2 at scsi5, channel 0, id 6, lun 0

Arkeia recognizes it and works quite well. The robotics control is a bit tricky with CLI. All-in-all it works fine and does what it's suposed to. There isn't much support/help for tape libraries anywhere online. If anyone else runs across this.. Good Luck
