DLink DWL-G122 Configuration Problems (No Connection)

Hi, I recently installed SuSE Linux 10.3 on one of my desktops, and was able to install the O/S without any problems. When it came to setting up my DLink Ver. B1 DWL-G122 USB Wireless Adapter, the O/S found no problems automatically locating the drivers. During the setup in the installation process (in the network configuration during O/S setup), I was able to set my WPA-Open, and Wireless Key and establish a link and activity. However, upon logging in for the first time in the O/S, I tried going into Mozilla Firefox, and the server could not be found. I tried to experiment with my wireless adapter just to see if I can get the connection working, but it simply made things worse. I don't see any activity at all, just the link (LED) with the desktop. I am unable to establish a working connection, and am afraid there is no way to undo my experimentation. My O/S recognized my adapter as Ralink RT2500USB b/g WLAN Card (RT2500 chipset) during the O/S configuration after install. I assumed I got the connection working flawlessly, however did not. Are there any suggestions that I should take into consideration here in order to resolve this problem? Please let me know, thanks.

Thanks, but this only apply to wireless PCI cards? The wireless device I have is based on the Ralink chipset, however, a USB adapter instead of PCI? What do you think?
