Distorted image on tv screen with ZBOX CI547nano

I have Zotac ZBOX CI547 nano (with Intel HD620 graphics) that I use as HTPC. It is running Linux Mint 19. I have it connected to a Samsung 49" TV. There is distortion in the images, especially with fast moving images. There is sort of a line visible in the image, as shown with the red line the attached image. In reality this line isn't red of course. Around that line there's a certain amount of distortion.
I have tried hooking up another computer to the same tv, using the same HDMI cable. This computer has a NVIDIA graphics cards and does not show the line, nor the distortion. So I'm pretty convinced it's not the tv, nor the cable.
Is there anything to do to get rid of this?

try:
  • make sure the tv displays the incoming image unchanged, i.e. it doesn't cut anything off the edges or uses stretch to fi
  • while using the TV, disable the other monitor on your computer
  • on your computer, disable compositing, or use a much lighter desktop environment altogether (try openbox)

Thank you very much! Disabling compositing did the trick.
