TeslaSerb LQ Newbie Registered: Oct 2007 Location: Serbia - Belgrade Posts: 1 Rep:	Display trouble Linux Live I'm new to linux (don't know a thing), so would appreciate help One month ago i tried Ubunt live version and afterwards desktop version and yesterday Bluwhite64 live, with each i experienced same problem. Linux would start loading untill the point it should start in graphic mode (suppose it is called X server). Then my monitor displays following message: "Cannot display this video mode, change computer display input to 1280x1024@60 HZ" When installing ubuntu desktop i chose available resolutions 1024768 and 12801024 so it's not the problem. Maybe its my hardware. If so please tell me is there any boot parameter that could solve this problem (for Live cds) My hardware is: Processor: AMD Athlon(tm) 64 Processor 3200+ NVIDIA GeForce 6600 LE Monitor: Plug and Play - Philips 190S Thanks in advance
