display picoLCD , driver

Hello, I cannot find a suit driver for picoLCD usb display .
In the site mini-box.com there are several drivers, but I am not using ubuntu nor debian, I cannot install via apt-get in my Slax distribution. I could not find a solution, I tried with usblcd, and it seems to be close, as I can turn on/off backlight, but I cannot write on the display. Any help? Many thanks...
