Disk-on-Chip in 2.4.31

I used to have my Disk on Chip running on a 2.4.18 kernel with a single module called doc.o and this would mount on a block device called fla1 (major 100 minor 1).

I've just upgraded to a 2.4.31 kernel and things are different. I need to install 4 modules, mtdcore.o, nand_ids.o, docexx.o and doc2000.o. But then I can't mount the device. e.g.

# mount /dev/msys/fla1
mount: Mounting /dev/msys/fla1 on /mnt/fla1 failed: No such device or address

What sort of device should I have to mount this filesystem on ? Where's this stuff documented ?

For those that have the same problem, I had to do the following...

Enable the DOC2000 hardware driver and NFTL, and it should turn up as /dev/nftla. Needed to create some nftla devices, i.e.

brw-rw-rw- 1 root root 93, 0 Sep 15 12:01 nftla
brw-rw-rw- 1 root root 93, 1 Sep 15 12:01 nftla1
brw-rw-rw- 1 root root 93, 2 Sep 15 12:01 nftla2
brw-rw-rw- 1 root root 93, 3 Sep 15 12:01 nftla3

This help came via linux-mtd@lists.infradead.org
