Unhappy Disable unsupported waveterminal 192L midi sound-card?

Hi, I am a completely new to linux. Please don't ban me if I ask a silly question.

I had a fully functional system. Fedora 2 Core 64 bit.
Then I installed a unsupported sound-card waveterminal 192L midi.
(I use Windows when I create music, there are no drivers for linux.)
Now I want my system to just ignore this sound-card and behave like it never had been installed. The sound-card that is on the motherboard worked fine.

I have tried /sbin/lspci
00:07.0 Multimedia audio controller: IC Ensemble Inc ICE1724 [Envy24HT] (rev 01)
which I can hear no sound from.

[cfn@localhost cfn]$ cat /etc/modprobe.conf
alias eth0 r8169
alias scsi_hostadapter sata_via
install snd-via82xx /sbin/modprobe --ignore-install snd-via82xx && /usr/sbin/alsactl restore >/dev/null 2>&1 || :
remove snd-via82xx { /usr/sbin/alsactl store >/dev/null 2>&1 || : ; }; /sbin/modprobe -r --ignore-remove snd-via82xx
alias usb-controller ehci-hcd
alias usb-controller1 uhci-hcd
alias snd-card-0 snd-ice1724
install snd-ice1724 /sbin/modprobe --ignore-install snd-ice1724 && /usr/sbin/alsactl restore >/dev/null 2>&1 || :
remove snd-ice1724 { /usr/sbin/alsactl store >/dev/null 2>&1 || : ; }; /sbin/modprobe -r --ignore-remove snd-ice1724

I have read some other threads I and tried two suggested commands if that could be of any help.

Best regards,
Christofer Fransson
