Disable firmware download (waln-ng/drake10.0)

Config: Mandrake 10.0, Sharp pcav18 notebook, smc2532w-b adapter

I am using the linux-wlan-ng-0.2.1-pre26 driver

I am trying to disable the firmware download when card is initialized. The documentation states the option to disable firmware download by adding the line wlan_download=n to /ect/pcmcia/wlan-ng.opts, but this file does not exist with drake10.0

I tried creating this file and adding the line: wlan_download=n but that did not stop the firmware download.

For the time being, I moved the firmware binaries to a different directory to inhibit the firmware download, but I would like to disable it through the proper method.

Suggestions?

Thanks

g
