Did you manage to setup X on DELL2550 (RedHat 7.2)?
Hi all,
I can't pass Xconfigurator test on DELL 2550 server, although X_probe can ensure the DELL monitor and the ATI video card.
Would you please help me out?

I read the file ("/var/log/XFree86.0.log")
Hi,
I read that file and found something wrong with the MOUSE. You know, we just take it as our server. So I didn't connect a mouse to it. Do I have to install one for X? No mouse, no X?

If it's a server then you shouldn't be running X.

Server running X
I disagree Aussie I often put X on servers if I have the CPU
resources to burn. Having X allows me to run X apps from
my desktop. A nice luxory at times. If the machine is being
heavily utilized then I would agree, X is expendable, a
luxory that should not be installed.
