Did anyone try the new drivers for sm56
 

Hi ..

Did anyone try the new drivers @ www.sm56.tk for redhat 8 ? i tried recompliing the kernel & loaded the modules but it gave a segmentation fault .. ne succes till now ?

i tried the same way
and got the same o/p
but could not understand the way as it was described at the site sm5.tk
that too instaall kernel with gcc2 and all that stuff.

I am trying to get redhat 8 work on kerenl 2.4.2 ..thats the version on which sm56.rpm works..if it succeds willlet u know :)

i could run rh 8 on kernel 2.4.2 .. it works perfectly ! plz go thru the post SM56 users please read
