Dial Up modems

I need help in installing either an internal or an external US robotic fax modem on my Computer. The Software (Suse linux 7.2), would not recognise the modems.

Would prefer to be able to use these modems since I have them already, if not able, may want to buy another one that will be compatible with Suse.

Welcome to the forums. If you could give details about the modems (model numbers) then that would be helpful.
