/dev/video0 question

Gnomemeeting gives two choices for video device when configuring, /dev/video0, /dev/video1
I find neither in MDK 10
My Micro Webcam IC150C is a usb webcam and is /proc/bus/usb/002/003.
How do I get gnomemeeting to recognize /proc/bus/usb/002/003?
And, will a Micro Webcam work with linux at all.?
