Design question
Hello experts (of which I am not), I have a seemingly simple scenario:
Business critcal application running on RH linux server with dedicated RAID-5 config. Any downtime beyond 45 seconds won't fly. Looking for the best way to make a seamless failover to a 2nd identical server also with its own storage. I've googled and read quite a bit about clustering, but it seems complicated and not very mature. Afraid I'll end up trying many things and not finding anything that I can trust in a production environment. Any experiences with Linux clustering?? Should I be thinking about this differently or just stop being paranoid? TIA b |
