Dell Inspiron 3050 Micro Desktop PC including monitor

Whilst searching for something else, I came across this Dell Inspiron 3050 Micro Desktop PC:
https://www.amazon.co.uk/d/Desktop-P...inspiron+micro

Unlike the similar, but very basic “barebones” Intel NUC, this Dell 3050 package includes 2GB of RAM, 32GB of storage, Windows 10 64 bit, keyboard, mouse AND a 20 inch monitor!

The CPU is an Intel Celeron J1800 rated at 1024.

This sounds like an ideal candidate for antiX-16 or MX-16 or other lightweight Linux distros.

antiX:

The price seems a bit high. But I don't know what's available across the pond from the USA. Maybe over there it's a good price. But if you don't know much about hardware it would be nice to purchase a system with support. Although, if you put Linux on the machine you're probably on your own.

erm.
what's the point of this topic?
are you asking us if this is a good device for linux?
are you recommending it?
are you pointing it out for some other reasons?
i don't get it.

Just mentioning that this Dell Inspiron i3050-3000BLK might be a relatively inexpensive option for a beginner who wished to install Linux on new hardware relatively cheaply, without using their existing computer.

I have one. I put in a larger SSD and it dual-boots windows 10 and CentOS 7 just fine. I like it. Without monitor it was around $170.00 US when I got it a year ago.
