Dell Flat Screen E177FP...any problems?
 

Hello all,

I was planning to order a Dell Flat Screen E177FP and considering that in the past I've had quite a bit trouble getting Dell flat screens to work with linux I was wondering if you guys had any feedabck on this?

I'm using a Dell E177FPf on a FC4 box at work, I wouldn't recommended it.
using the standard 1280x1024 TFT driver (and every other driver i tried - a (very) quick google didn't reveal a
linux driver specifically for it).
you just get all the text/dark colours faintly smeared across the screen. whilst I can live with it at work I
wouldn't get one to use with linux at home : (

Well I have to say that I just got mine in, and it works like a charm!!!
