Dell "CERC" Raid-5 w/CENT OS. Is this true hardware RAID or just an expensive card?

Planned config is a PowerEdge 1800 with the "Free CERC 6-ch RAID card" they are currently offering @ a claimed $350 value.
2 - 40GB disks in RAID 1 for OS
4 - 320GB disks in RAID 5 for /srv stuff

Is this a true hardware RAID or am I asking for trouble?

From what I can tell it is a hardware raid adapter with 16-64MB of cache... though it only seams to support RAID 0 and RAID 5.

I did some digging this AM and everything points to it being a MegaRAID SATA 150-6 card so it should support 0, 1, 5, and some others. I'll post back when the box comes it to confirm this is the card.

I'll be setting it up with CentOS 4.
