Question Defragment


Is there any defragment systems in linux ?
Do people make defragments in linux ?
Do we need to defragment in linux ?
Is it possible to defragment ?
Is there anything in linux related to that thing called defragment ?

basically there are a few tools around that can defragment various file systems but you do NOT need to do this and ext3 / reiserfs etc... are clever filessystems that do not fragement to any great extent. don't worry about it.
