Dedicated film scanner for Linux
 

I run FC3 "out-of-the-box". I need a high-quality (>3500dpi) dedicated film scanner to use with my laptop. No SCSI interface, so USB 1.1/2.0 only. I have looked at http://www.sane-project.org/sane-backends.html for supported devices, and I am considering the Konica Minolta Dimage Scan Elite 5400. Do you have any experience with this device, or a better suggestion?
