Debian stable/IIyama Vision Master Pro454 - refresh rate too low

I'm using the latest Debian stable. I have:
HM903DT IIyama Vision Master Pro454 monitor
nVidia Quadro FX 1300 video card

I have searched around on google and in the forums for answers to my problem. I've seen a couple similar problems, but they were either resolved via things that haven't worked for me or no one posted an answer.

I'm using the latest nVidia drivers. When I start X, my monitor refresh rate is limited to 85 Hz regardless of the resolution. My monitor, according to the specs, can do 800x600 at 200Hz and 1024x768 at 162Hz. I have tried adding various mode lines to my XF86Config-4, but these invariably result in problems around the edges of the image. Here are the relevant sections of my XF86Config-4:

Code:
Section "Device"
        Identifier "Videocard0"
        Driver "nvidia"
        VendorName "Videocard vendor"
BoardName "NVIDIA Quadro FX (version 1.0-6106)"
        Option "Stereo" "1"
        Option "UseEdidFreqs" "1"
EndSection

Section "Monitor"
        Identifier "Monitor0"
        VendorName "Monitor Vendor"
        ModelName "Iiyama HM903DT B, VisionMaster Pro 454"
        DisplaySize 360 270
        HorizSync 30.0 - 132.0
        VertRefresh 50.0 - 200.0
EndSection
When looking at XFree86.0.log, I see several lines like this:
Code:
(**) NVIDIA(0): Default mode "1920x1440": 341.4 MHz, 128.5 kHz, 85.0 Hz
(**) NVIDIA(0): Default mode "1600x1200": 229.5 MHz, 106.2 kHz, 85.0 Hz
(**) NVIDIA(0): Default mode "1280x960": 148.5 MHz, 85.9 kHz, 85.0 Hz
(**) NVIDIA(0): Default mode "1024x768": 94.5 MHz, 68.7 kHz, 85.0 Hz
(**) NVIDIA(0): Default mode "800x600": 56.3 MHz, 53.7 kHz, 85.1 Hz
(**) NVIDIA(0): Default mode "640x480": 74.2 MHz, 85.9 kHz, 85.1 Hz (D)
(**) NVIDIA(0): Default mode "1920x1440": 297.0 MHz, 112.5 kHz, 75.0 Hz
(**) NVIDIA(0): Default mode "1920x1440": 234.0 MHz, 90.0 kHz, 60.0 Hz
(**) NVIDIA(0): Default mode "1856x1392": 288.0 MHz, 112.5 kHz, 75.0 Hz
(**) NVIDIA(0): Default mode "1856x1392": 218.3 MHz, 86.4 kHz, 60.0 Hz
(**) NVIDIA(0): Default mode "1792x1344": 261.0 MHz, 106.3 kHz, 75.0 Hz
(**) NVIDIA(0): Default mode "1792x1344": 204.8 MHz, 83.7 kHz, 60.0 Hz
(**) NVIDIA(0): Default mode "1600x1200": 202.5 MHz, 93.8 kHz, 75.0 Hz
(**) NVIDIA(0): Default mode "1600x1200": 189.0 MHz, 87.5 kHz, 70.0 Hz
(**) NVIDIA(0): Default mode "1600x1200": 175.5 MHz, 81.2 kHz, 65.0 Hz
(**) NVIDIA(0): Default mode "1600x1200": 162.0 MHz, 75.0 kHz, 60.0 Hz
(**) NVIDIA(0): Default mode "1400x1050": 155.8 MHz, 81.5 kHz, 74.8 Hz
(**) NVIDIA(0): Default mode "1400x1050": 122.0 MHz, 64.9 kHz, 60.0 Hz
(**) NVIDIA(0): Default mode "1280x1024": 157.5 MHz, 91.1 kHz, 85.0 Hz
(**) NVIDIA(0): Default mode "1280x1024": 135.0 MHz, 80.0 kHz, 75.0 Hz
None of the vertical refresh rates breaks 87 Hz.

I am told that I need to be able to get at least 120 Hz to use the stereo capabilities of the video card correctly. I am looking for some suggestions on things I might do to enable higher refresh rates or pointers to areas with more information about EDID, monitor refresh rates, etc.
