Debian: Graphics card detected but when booting with it no display

Hello,
So I decided to make the switch from Windows to Debian as my main OS. I use Debian and Kali as my primary OS's on my laptop so I'm more than a little acquainted with the Linux OS.

Anyway to the point, so as I said I've made the switch to Debian but I couldn't get my graphics card (AMD Radeon HD7850) to display. I switched to my integrated graphics and then checked if the card was being detected using xrandr --listproviders and hwinfo, it wasn't. So I instinctually installed the drivers and rebooted the system, It was now detected, however when I tried to boot with my graphics card it still wouldn't display anything. I have checked the BIOS and everything is normal and should work but nothing is displaying still.

So here I am. What could I do? If you need any logs or extra info just ask and I'll edit it in.

Thanks.

How did you install the drivers? What happens when you try to boot? Have you checked dmesg?

Sorry about this, I was an idiot! Turns out the BIOS settings weren't correct after all, turns out my default output device was set to IGD for some reason. I promptly set this right, Thanks anyway.

Sorry again.
