Debian 3.01r2 does not recognise ethernet card
This is my first time trying to install much less use a linux system, I purchased a set of debian 3.01r2 "woody i386 cd's. I am following the "The Very Verbose Debian 3.0 Installation Walkthrough", but when I get to the ethernet card install it says there isn't one and goes to the next step. I am using the card to access the internet thru a satellite system.
The card reads: 32-bit PCI-BUS 10/100Mbps ACPI Fast Ethernet Card Can anyone help? |
I found out that AirLinkPlus is the maker and is only Windows compatable. Which ethernet card is a sure fire working card I can put in this computer and it work, please keep it cheap because I am giving the computer to the kids next door to use for school.
