Debian 11 KDE: HP Scanjet 2400 lamp always on and impossible to scan.

I'm new to this forum and thanks to anyone will help me

Debian 11 KDE: HP Scanjet 2400 lamp always on and impossible to scan.
Xsane and Skanlite find the scanner but when I clic "Preview" they freeze, as a normal user and root.
On previous version (Debian 10) I had the same issue solved with command scanimage -n1 at system startup, that dont' work with Debian 11.
The scanner work perfectly with Antix 19 based on Debian 10 on my laptop.

Code:
$ scanimage -n1
Output format is not set, using pnm as a default.
scanimage: invalid option -- '1'
The command scanimage -n switch the lamp off but immediately on again.

Code:
$ uname -r
5.10.0-8-amd64
Code:

You have your solution use Debian 10 where it works with the work around you have. You should almost install 9 to see if it works without the work around. Then you would have starting point for contacting the SANE people for them to help with debugging the full support for your model. That is if they want to get it working properly no guarantee it will happen but you can ask.

You are welcome good luck with it and if you enable the backports in Debian 10 you can get newer versions of software that has been built for that release if you go with it. If the reason you went to 11 was for that purpose it could help delay the upgrade.
