dd problem with my SSD

Hi,

I have a problem using "dd if=/dev/urandom if=/dev/sda" with my new SSD.

The error I get is:

Quote:
dd: Writing to '/dev/sda': No space left on device
....
....

How can I solve this?

Thanks.

This is normal, dd will write to the SSD from the beginning to the end. When it reaches the last sector it will complain that there is no more space.
