Dazzle Card Reader
 
I have a dazzle usb card reader with a sandisk 128mb flash card. I am running slackware 9.1. i plug the card reader in and see that it is set as /dev/sda but am unable to mount the flash card partition. please help

Are you trying to mount /dev/sda, or /dev/sda1? /dev/sda is the device, but the partitions each get a number, so you need to mount /dev/sda1 (assuming it only has one partition) instead of just /dev/sda.

Mike,

I have the same card and reader and am unable to mount the disk in Windows. So it sounds like a hardware problem. Here's someone who was having a problem with this combo last year.

I see you posted last month. Have you been able to resolve the issue since?

Well, nevermind. Rebooting twice did the trick, somehow.

I appreciate the help. I never got it to work the right way. oh well. I have a new challenge now. sorry i haven't been as active on here.
