Darn Kyro Issues again!

OK - I am 100% green when it comes to Linux, I have played and played and am still no where near to making my VGA card work!

Running Redhat 9 Shrike i686 (celeron) with a hercules prophet 4500 TVout card, downloaded drivers from the PowerVR site, first tryed RPM file - no use.
All it did was run and stop!

The I compiled the src.tgz file myself.
STILL didnt work (this is after following the readme file to the letter) all it did was mess up X and make RH9 restart the XConfig app.

Has anyone managed to make this card work in redhat 9?
If so can someone talk me through it?
