i am still unable to connect my internet thru the d-link internal modem i have. my mail cause of using windows is simply that i am unable to connect to the internet thru my modem. pls. brief me step by step how do i go abt it.

i am giving u this out of the box personal advice
in india there is very much problem of these hardware and their drivers for linux.
u can purchase them from linuxant.com for some 15$,now that is not posible for us in india everytime
now this a new modem altogether
i have go this modem with me also!!
and i will try this and see if u can get this working
also external modems though costly but are good with linux
also browse the driver cd and post the name of the driver u have in the linux directoy in the CD
