D-Link DWL-G510 (wireless lan)

I have read that this piece of kit doesn't support linux, or isn't supported by linux.
BUT I've also read that some people have adapted drivers to make it work.
Anyone done this or know someone that has? And is there any way I can get hold of a copy?

I am assuming that my machine will recognise and use the pci when it has the right drivers...?

Cheers. Distro is Mandrake 9.2
