D-Link DWL-650

I have a little problem, again. I tired to compiling kernel-module, and now I have pc-card wlan card.

When I run YaST Hardware Information test, it finds D-Link wlan card, but on the network devices it doesn't show. And when I network tool, it's trying to use my Intel wlan card, not the d-link. Not even then, when I install card manually. It doesn't show on the configuration window at all.

Does anyone know a good Linux laptop, where every damn button and function works?

Could start by checking if the madwifi Atheros drivers are loaded: "grep ath_ /proc/modules".

After putting that command, nothing happens. Only ctrl+c stops that what machine is doing.

Green light blinks all the time on the card.

Okay. Now Madwifi atheros is installed.

I downgraded back to SuSE 9.3 and everything is working fine now. Maybe someday 10.x version is working as smoothly as this version.
