D-Link DSL 200 problem

Hi

Has anyone successfully setup this modem in Red hat 8? I have got the drivers and the documentation but none of this really helped.

The problem is after I have installed the drivers and run setup, I have tried to start the modem (using startmodem) and it keeps telling me can't unload dabusb and then can't find modem. I have removed dabusb by editing the blacklist file and used every other means the documentation says but it will just not work.

Also is there anyway of uninstalling the rpm drivers? And is there any firmware updates for this modem?

Cheers
