CUPS - What driver to use for an Epson L355 printer

Hi!

I want to set up an Epson L355 printer on my kubuntu 14.04 computer. I have to use jetdirect so I set socket://ip:9100 as the URL but then I have to select the manufacturer and model. I see a bunch of Epson printers but none is the one I have... what would be the closest one I could use instead? Or can I get the PPD somewhere?

you should be able to extract the ppd file from one of the driver bundles at:

Open Printing suggests the Epson epson-201207w: http://www.openprinting.org/printer/...on-L355_Series

Driver for L-355 works with LSB 3.2 but not with LSB 4.1.
Some solution?
