ctrl-alt-backspace does a hard kill on comp
I just got a M$ Natural Keyboard with my new computer. I'm in the process of trying to install the video driver for the card, and found out that when I press ctrl-alt-backspace to kill the X server, it kills the whole computer (and not a nice shutdown, either; it's just like I pressed the power on/off button).
Is there any way to change this behaviour? If not, is there a way to make another key combination kill the X server? TIA |
It's an M$ product, so possibly they poisoned the hardware to do that. My mouse isn't poisoned, but it's M$ and it's starting to fuck up majorly as far as battery consumption so I wouldn't doubt that craptacular M$ has screwed you over as well.
