CT5880 on alsa es1371: noise and disturbance

Hi

I have CT5880 sound card (SB 128 PCI). It is running on alsa es1371 driver. When i tried to play sound on it, the output is interrupted. Just if CPU is working on something sound is clear. I tried google this problem but without success. Can you help please?

i am running mandra 9.2, with 2.4.22.21-mdk kernel and 0.9.6 alsa. Now when i want to listen to music clearly i need to run some algorithms.

try this:

in the kernel in the sound settings -> select OSS -> 100% sound blaster compatables -> XpressAudio

and obviously dont use the alsa drivers.

I found on google that it is a problem of cooperation between motherboard chip ( north bridge:VIA KT-133 South bridge:VIA VT82C686A and chip on sound card). Thanks all for help and sorry to not tell earlier...
