CrystalEye webcam on Skype

Anybody know how to get a CrystalEye webcam functioning in Skype, aMSN, etc? So far I've been able to get it to work with luvcview:

Code:

luvcview -f yuv -s 320x240
How does one give these parameters to other programs or perhaps divert and translate the stream into another virtual device?

OS: Ubuntu Jaunty 9.04
Model: ACER Aspire 5720

Have you gone into the preferences in each of those apps and made sure the settings are correct for your webcam?
cheers,

Yep. Unfortunately no further options show up. Skype has two dropdown boxes, one to select the device and another to set the resolution. The second one is disabled and blank.
