Having trouble installing a piece of hardware? Want to know if that peripheral is compatible with Linux?

cross platform RAID 0 system

I wanna take my two 500 GB IDE drives and throw 'em in a RAID 0 (striping) system and have it as storage for my Ubuntu 7.04 home server. I also need that RAID setup to be natively compatible (FAT32) with Windows and Mac OS X because I'll eventually be moving it to both those platforms.

What are my options in terms of hardware? non-fakeraid add-on card? external RAID enclosure? any brand or model recommendations?

TIA
