Creative PC-Cam 350...
Hey...
I recently bought a creative PC-Cam 350 and as much as I fiddle with SPCA50x and the like I can not get it recognized in Linux. At this point the only thing keeping me in Windows XP is the fact that I am away and college and my girlfriend would be quite unhappy with me if she couldn't see me everyday, as she bought me the webcam for christmas. I'm somewhat new at this so any information you could provide would be very very helpful...
Thanks
-Tim

You'll need to have a 300 or a 600 to use SPCA50x... the x50 models probably use different chipsets since they are newer...

Not till someone writes a driver. Unless you wanna follow the intructions on the driver site for the driver checker thing that lets them know the chipsets and information... they might be able to offer a quick fix.
