Thumbs down Creative live 5.1 no sound

Ok today i bought a new sound card because my old was a Creative live 5.1 by dell so it wasn't compatible

i bougt a new today and installed Fedora core 2 again... but i get no sound not even the test sound or the generic.wav

Also checked thet mixer setting but evrything looked ok!

so what could be the problem my system even detects the card right but i got no sound at all

check the permissions of /dev/mixer
and /dev/dsp
