Hello, I have no sound.
When i do "lsmod" there is
snd-emu10k1 61652 1
snd-pcm 56288 0 [snd-pcm-oss snd-emu10k1]
snd-timer 13412 0 [snd-pcm]
snd-hwdep 4864 0 [snd-emu10k1]
snd-util-mem 1136 0 [snd-emu10k1]
snd-page-alloc 6004 0 [snd-emu10k1 snd-pcm]
snd-ac97-codec 43436 0 [snd-emu10k1]
snd-rawmidi 12640 0 [snd-emu10k1]
snd-seq-device 3904 0 [snd-emu10k1 snd-rawmidi]
snd 29924 0 [snd-pcm-oss snd-mixer-oss snd-emu10k1 snd-pcm snd-timer snd-hwdep snd-util-mem snd-ac97-codec snd-rawmidi snd-seq-device]
soundcore 3332 6 [snd]

and a bit moore..

I dont know anything about drivers and so on...

Have you used used a mixer like alsamixer in a console window and un-muted the volume and the pcm?

After unmuting (use arrow up down keys to move the sliders up and down, if a slider has an "M" symbol at the top unmute it with M key, move to the next slider with left/right arrows) and verifying that you got sound use as root
alsactl store
command to store your mixer settings.

LOL sorry, got it working.. i had missed the mute at pcm (no idea how)

I have the same problem with the alsa drivers from the kernel, although I did unmute all of it and I still get no sound.

Right now, the drivers are built-in but I tried both built in and not.

I need help :(
