Creative Extigy & Alsa

I have some problems with my Extigy soundcard. The OSS works well, but I want to use ALSA and get problems. My machine is:
PIV2500/512/Ati Radeon 9800/MSI 845E/the onboard sund if turned off by jumper.
on Linux Slackware 9.1/2.6.6rc1 kernel/Alsa version 1.0.4

Alsamixer works, but when I try to play smth by xmms and xine, I get no sound and such message:

ALSA lib pcm_hw.c:494snd_pcm_hw_start) SNDRV_PCM_IOCTL_START failed: Broken pipe

** WARNING **: alsa_mmap_audio(): snd_pcm_start failed: Broken pipe

Help me, please!
