Creative audigy 2 and linux drivers

hello.

to explain shortly:
i am on the way to port from windows to linux and i am unsurtain of some hardware issues.

is there anyone who knows if it is possible to use this device in linux environment:
-Creative Audigy 2

all feedbacks will be appriciated

I use SuSE 10.0 and my audigy 2 works in linux. SuSE detected it automatically at installation.

Creative does not have linux drivers. Emu10k1 is your only crappy alternative.

I'm holding out hope they'll be a better one (or a native one) will be released soon, but I doubt it'll happen.

So... all the fancy features such as EAX and Advanced HD are incompatible.

Jep, I can noticed also that it uses the Emu10k1 emulation... Nah, works enough for me.
