Corsair Wireless K63 with Lap Board

Hi:

I just saw this newly released keyboard/lapboard combination and realized that it would be perfect for my uses (which do not include any gaming, but that's beside the point): it would permit moving around or standing while still having the mouse available, and also provide mechanical keys, which I very much like (my old Northgate OmniKey Ultra has outlasted many machines since I first acquired it).

My question is: does anyone have any idea whether this could be used on Linux - specifically an up-to-date version of Mint or Ubuntu? It seems to use Bluetooth as opposed to 2.4G wireless, but seems from the pictures to include a USB bluetooth adapter as well.

It also comes with a utility (which I'm sure is Windoze only) to program key macros and such things which might be nice (it's a pain doing that in Linux), but has anyone experimented with running this under a VM or some other emulator?

Any thoughts ?? ... and thanks for listening.

This is a very late reply, but I just bought the K63 wireless, and it works perfectly fine with Linux. Also, it has Bluetooth (7ms response time), can work with a 2.4GHz dongle (1ms response time), and can also be used as a wired keyboard (via the Micro USB slot).

Although I haven't owned this keyboard for long, I really enjoy typing on it. I type very quickly, and this thing never misses a keystroke. Compared to my other mechanical keyboard, the K63 wireless is relatively quiet. It doesn't make much noise at all - doesn't have the loud "click" sound found on some mechanical keyboards.
