core duo support on slakware

Good day,
cat /proc/cpuinfo show only 1 processor.
System slakware 11.0 2.16.20 kernel(as i know that kernel has support core duo).
Asus A8jr laptop CPU T2350 Centrino Duo.
How to make support 2 processors?
Tnx in advance.

You will need to recompile your kernel to enable the support - see for details.

What version of Slack. There are SMP versions available on the last couple of versions, that you can install, instead of compiling your own.
