convert usb gamepad to wireless gamepad

i got logitech wireless keyboard/ mouse and it works pretty good.
http://www.amazon.com/Logitech-96755.../dp/B000AY2L3U
it basically has a usb recever that you plug into the pc and the keyboard/ mouse have a range of about 10 feet.

is there a device that takes existing usb devices and make them work wirelessly ?

i have this gamepad:
http://www.amazon.com/Saitek-P2500-R.../dp/B000075B5V

this is almost the same thing but wireless (about $30):
http://www.amazon.com/Saitek-P2900-W.../dp/B000EDO2SO

can i use my existing gamepad, plug it into some wireless usb transmitter thing then plug the receiver to the pc's usb port (for under $30). where would i find such a thing. google returned bluetooth dongles - i dont think that is what i want.

thanks,

Yes, there are wireless USB hubs but they are not cheap and I do not know if they are linux compatable. Not sure what other products are available.
