Connecting external storage through TP-Link Archer C8 router USB

For some reason, everything I try to connect to the router won't show up in Fedora 28's network contents. The router's web GUI does however show that whatever I connect to the USB ports is connected to it. What say you on this?

I don't have any actual experience with TP Link USB sharing but have you correctly configured shares? Did not look to see what file systems are compatible so how is it formatted?

Have you looked at this guide?

They tend to share via samba/cifs so you'd need to be sure you have both filesystem permission, drive permission and samba shares. See how Fedora uses or searches for samba shares.
