confusing about AMD64 Temperature

I just buy an AMD64 X2(dual core) (spec is my signature) and try to check the temperature but I confuse. Which one is showing my processor temperature?

AMD processors have an internal thermal diode. I only have the tech pubs for a single core Athlon 64 so I am extrapolating when I say that there is one thermal diode per core. These diodes are "read" by the k8temp module. These diodes have an accuracy of +/-10C.

The other temperatures are monitored by an IT8716F Super I/O chip manufactured by ITE. One of the many functions this chip provides is environmental monitoring and control. Temp1 and temp2 are dedicated to thermal sensors. Temp3 can be used for either a thermal sensor or as serial output from the flash or not used at all. In your case, it doesn't look like it's being used. The only way to be sure of what these three temperatures correspond to is ask your motherboard manufacturer. The datasheet for the IT8716F doesn't publish an accuracy for the thermal sensors.

In any event, assuming that everything is configured correctly, k8temp is reporting a 34C internal case temperature. The actual internal case temperature is somewhere between 24C (75F) and 44C (111F).
