Conflict of RAID and Linux fstab mount

Hi all.

I'm using Fedora Core 2.
Using poweredge 2850 with hot swap drive bays on it.

The issue:
When I try to use fstab to mount extra Hard Disk it run as usual.
But my hardware seems to have RAID controller on it.

Is the system support both linux fstab mount approach together with RAID, which my dell 2850 having this RAID controller (Hardware RAID)?
Hardware support hotswap drive. Is either Hardware RAID or Linux mount will create conflict or neither will create conflict?

I never used RAID before but seen the tutorial. Need to do partitioning and ID setting for my SCSI HDD. Still reading. Just asking for opinion and suggestion before implementing it.

Thanks.

I won't recommend LQ as point to ask this.
Check out linux.dell.com and join the dell talk forum for the correct setup.

PowerEdge 2800, PowerEdge 2850, PowerEdge 1850 - PERC4e/Di - dual channel, U320 SCSI, PCI Express, with battery-backed cache. Requires megaraid2 driver 2.00.3 or higher on 2.4.x kernels. On 2.6.x kernels (x < 9), there is no driver for these adapters. On 2.6.x kernels (x >= 9) use the 'megaraid_mbox' and 'megaraid_mm' drivers.
