Talking Conflict irq


Hello

I need help... have a machine Linux Slackware and three device ethernet, one first device is Ethernet PCI VIA use IRQ 11 other device Ethernet PCI Sundance use same IRQ 11, consequently can't loading module of Sundance. Switch device Sundance of slot PCI and stay same IRQ 11 ..

Somebody how resolve this problem ?

I remember in the old days (about 10 years ago) you sometimes had dip-switches on the cards to select different IRQs for the cards. I think these days this can be changed in the bios. Have a look there first to see if you can move either card to a different IRQ.
I have never had to mess with this recently, it is a possibility I guess that Slackware and other distributions have configurations to set IRQ in the Linux config itself (?)

I take it you want to use all 3 at the same time? Otherwise you can just disable or remove one

Is Firewall, need three interfaces ... I have setserial program, you know this tool ?
