CONFIGURING USB Printer in CONSOLE

hey

im using linux server with NO UI at all,
how can i configure my EPSON Printer from here?
I already installed CUPS. but most of the tutorials for CUPS tells me to access localhost:631 but like i said i have no UI and i just need to use the console for setting up the printer. And pls dont suggest to install any console based web browser cause thats not what we wAnt to do. i want to set-up the printer with minimum user manipulAtion since ill just build a script.

I suspect, that without using the UI, you are down to reading vast quantities of manual pages, and manually editing config files. Your script may have to manipulate those too. There may be command line tools, but your are going to have google for them and read the manuals for them as well. Start by going to the Cups web site, and reading the documentation properly.

To be quite fair, you are not in for an easy ride, and are about to hit a steep learning curve. The UI was built so most users wouldnt have to worry about this stuff.
