Configuring Sound card on HP d330 Desktop with SUSE 9.1
 
I have installed SUSE 9.1 on my HP d330 desktop machine. The problem is that sound card is not configured properly and there is no sound. Please advice me how to get correct driver and how to configure it. On HP site there is only drivers for MS Windows!!!!

i don't know one single thing about suse but the driver should be part of the kernel
it's called
snd-card-intel8x0

try
modprobe snd-card-intel8x0

or if you have a file that loads modules at boot you could try putting
snd-card-intel8x0
in that ??
