configuring network card on suse 9.3 pro(32 bit)

i have installed suse linux 9.3 pro

my config is
Intel Pentium D 820 2.8GHz
Intel D945PSN motherboard with Intel Pro 1000 PM onboard network card

When i go to yast->network devices, it says that the network card is automatically detected but it does not get properly activated during bootup. as a result, i am not able to access the internet..i have tried removing it and adding it again..after removing, it shows the card in the auto-detected cards but if i try to configure it, it says "device driver module not found. it may be built in tht kernel"..i have no idea what this is supposed to mean...can someone help me out and get it up and working?

kernel i am using is 2.6.11.4-20a-smp. as asked for, here is what i get as a result of /sbin/lspci
